Sabem aqueles filmes que toda a gente recomenda, e quando chegam ao cinema descobrem que são melhores ainda?
Foi o que eu senti com Midnight in Paris. Amor à primeira vista.
Tanta coisa óbvia que há para gostar neste filme: Woody Allen, Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Paris (para quem gosta). Mas isso é só uma parte tão pequenina do todo.
Digo-vos que é difícil não ser spoiler, por isso vou-me cingir a factos mais genéricos. A genialidade do Woody Allen aparece em cada frame, e só a introdução do filme vale bem o dinheiro do bilhete. Depois é um filme que inclui Cole Porter, F. Scott e Zelda Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein, Picasso, Dalí, T.S. Eliot, Matisse, Gauguin, Degas e tantos outros. Os anos 20 e a belle époque. E um milhão de brilhantes citações que poderia fazer.
A sério, não percam a oportunidade de poder ver este filme numa tela gigante, em tão boa companhia quanto possível, porque será certamente inesquecível. Valeu-lhe um valente 8,1/10 no IMDb, e como sempre, fica o trailer:
